by Jan-Steffen Fischer (University of Stuttgart, Institute of Space Systems)
Date: Tuesday 19 May 1923
Abstract: Life Cycle Assessment of Space Transportation Systems: In recent years, a new record for rocket launches has been set every year. The growing demand for space-based services suggests that this trend will continue in the coming years. This presentation will examine the environmental impacts of production, launch, and re-entry emissions in detail and illustrate them using several examples.
