Stefaan Poedts is full professor in applied mathematics at the KU Leuven (Belgium).He published more than 365 articles on plasma physics of the Sun and space weather. Currently, his research is focusing on modeling of the solar corona and CME evolution in the heliospheric wind. He is involved in several EU H2020 and ESA projects on these subjects.
